ARC Applications in Canada
Canada is a land
of immense opportunities and those who have been here have never been
disappointed with the charm and charisma of the country. When it comes to
immigration, Canada is the first name that comes to the mind, but having said
so, it is not that easy to enter the borders of the country without proper
authentication and verification. Sky Wheel Immigration is
undoubtedly one of the best PR visa consultants that assist you with all
documentation process to be completed with accuracy and within time. They have
expertise in handling all kinds of visa and immigration related procedures.
What is ARC in Canada?
By definition,
ARC is nothing but authorization to return to Canada. Mostly all of the ARC Applications
in Canada are overlooked by an immigration officer, who decides who
should enter the boundary while applying for a visa, or an eTA, or at the entry
port. In case, you have been deported for any reason from the country, you will
be required to submit a proper ARC application, before entering the country.
The removal orders can be of different types and some of them are classified
as:
- Exclusion order – This
type of removal comes with a form numbered IMM 121 4B. If 12 months have passed
after you left Canada and you possess a valid certificate of departure, you
need not require an ARC to re enter the country. If you wish to enter before 12
months, then ARC is required
- Departure order – If 30
days have passed and you have your departure verified at the exit port, then
ARC is not required, while if 30 days are not over and your departure was not
verified, then ARC will be required
- Deportation order – If you
have been deported from the country for whatever reasons, you will be required
to submit an ARC to enter
Deportation can
be due to many reasons, and if the reasons are not convincible by the immigration
officer, then under every possibility, your application may be delayed or
rejected. So, before applying, all the possibilities must be clearly understood
and analysed. ARC is very much similar to a TRV application with difference in
its criteria and fee. This application is mandatory for every citizen who has
been issued removal orders, irrespective of their country of origin.
How to Apply For ARC Applications?
The first thing
to note is the checklist of documents required which includes the following:
- A TRV application submitted online to create a barcode page
- Passport size photographs not older than 6 months
- Copy of the passport
- A well written application, stating valid reasons to re-enter the state
- Processing fee which may be updated on the official immigration portal of Canada
These details in
the application will be carefully scrutinised by the verifying officer and
accordingly incomplete or ineligible applications will be rejected. Please note
that the application fee is non-refundable even if the application is not
approved. Those who wish to enter for education work or immigration, need not
submit separate ARC Application, as it will
automatically approved with additional fee payment.
